INFO

The Vindickers have returned! Originally formed in Hastings UK by frontman Jme J and drummer Jay Maplesden as a pop punk covers band, they parted ways with original bass player Paul shortly after the release of their stunning 14 track debut album Before The Fall. Fast forward a year and a fortunate night out on the town led to bassist Smitty joining the fold with rehearsals beginning shortly afterwards, almost instantly they knew this was a combination that would help set the Vin's back on track. Having played a few gigs locally, it soon became clear that The Vindickers would need a 2nd guitarist to add another layer and flesh out the live sound, enter Rob Wyatt a fellow pop punk luminary from their hometown and they haven't looked back since.

Their sound has been described as hard rock infused pop punk which is perfectly displyed in debut album Before The Fall. A rich album whch takes listeners on a roller coster ride through rock ballads, upbeat pop punk energy, soaring ska riffs and just a hint of country thrown in for good measure. The album takes on many themes lyrically with no 2 songs sounding the same, jumping from serious to comedic stories, which as pointed out by one reviewer only goes to show how much fun The Vindickers have creating their music.

Now just past their first year as a full band, The Vindickers have played a variety of outdoor festivals including the SQ stage at Eastbourne Exteme and Battfest 2012 which was a global online festival and saw over 1 million people tune in as well as gigs at Nambucca London and the Tunbridge Wells Forum. They have a raw, passionate and energetic live show and have had the good fortune to have shared a stage with bands like Madcraft, Third Place Victory, Nikson, ScreamDon'tWhisper and The Bottom Line

PRESS

"...a refreshing change from your common as muck copy cat pop punk band that lurk around every corner these days."

  • Dave Bird, Punk Prospect.

“Before The Fall is a mature, passionate song carried by equally gifted musicians and unique, emotive vocals. Fast paced and catchy, especially the chorus"

  • Andrew J C Nicholls, SQ Soundcloud Showcase

"...If being a geek is as fun as this sounds, sign me up for some plaster-fixed specs and a Star Trek boxed set..."

  • Richard Morris, The Observer

"Buddy Song’ deserves to be played loud, and often. The track is more of a blur than the last one we featured, but it is by no means inferior; better in some areas, it’s got some awesome lyrics, and we love the bass."

  • Andrew J C Nicholls, SQ Soundcloud Showcase

"The Vindickers may label themselves as a Pop Punk band with various influences, but they’re so much more than that. They’ve really pushed themselves to make their debut record as impressive, diverse and unique as possible and are meant for success."

  •  Marianne Calnan, Sound and Motion Magazine

"(The Vindickers songs)... can hold their heads high within the genre."

  • Stuart Huggett, Eastmag
